Respite: A short period of rest or relief from something difficult, stressful, unpleasant, painful, emotional, or exerting. A way to escape, even if for a fleeting moment. Relief is found in reflection, prayers, meditation, physical movement or creative outlets. Courage is found with companionship, a change in circumstance or attitude or taking time to breathe. With a lull, or timeout, we gain strength to continue. We invite you to take break, then share your interpretation of respite in art quilt form.
